Giới từ đi theo danh từ cố định (reason for, impact on, increase in...)
Nhiều danh từ đi với một giới từ cố định, không thể suy ra từ tiếng Việt: reason FOR (lý do của), impact/effect ON (ảnh hưởng đến), increase/decrease IN (sự tăng/giảm về), access TO (quyền truy cập vào), demand FOR (nhu cầu về).

Khi nào dùng
Rất thường gặp trong báo cáo, email kinh doanh khi giải thích nguyên nhân, kết quả, xu hướng: 'the reason for the delay', 'an increase in sales', 'a positive impact on revenue'.

Lưu ý
- Phân biệt 'an increase IN + lĩnh vực' (an increase in sales) và 'an increase OF + con số' (an increase of 10%).
- Động từ và danh từ cùng gốc có thể khác nhau: 'access the system' (động từ, không có giới từ) nhưng 'have access to the system' (danh từ + to).
