AMany job seekers feel nervous before an interview, even when they know the role well. This anxiety often comes from fear of being judged or from not knowing what questions will be asked, rather than from a lack of skill or experience.
BCareer coaches suggest practising answers aloud rather than just thinking them through silently. Saying responses out loud, perhaps in front of a mirror or with a friend, helps candidates sound more natural and reduces the chance of freezing when the real question comes.
CPreparing a few specific examples from past work is also useful. Instead of vague claims like "I am a good team player," candidates can describe one real situation, what they did, and what the result was, which makes answers far more convincing.
DInterviewers often notice confidence as much as content. A candidate who pauses briefly to think, then answers clearly, usually seems more capable than one who rushes through nervous, scattered sentences just to fill the silence.
